His publicist, Annett Wolf, stated:
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months."He was diagnosed 20 months ago with cancer of the pancreas and this spread to other parts of his body. Earlier this month, he came home to be with his family, apparently sensing his time was short.
He leaves behind his wife, Lisa Niemi. They had no children.
There's no word on when a service will be.

It's sad ,and a tough fight! I just lost my friend with cancer ,and she faught for 3 years-she also had some bad Doctors at the start! She missed one yearw/out a brest exam ,and then it went to her brain after they removed the brest,I just did what I could! I did not think she had the family support she needed so despretly,but some people dom't deal well!
